Open Position: Alliance Manager
SUMMARY:
The Alliance Manager works with members of Translational Research, Business Development, Laboratory Operations, Finance, Application Development, Quality and Regulatory teams to lead BioPharma and Academic clinical projects. Serving as the principle contact for individual accounts, this position is responsible for project deliverables, meeting project timelines, managing client communications, coordinating new and ongoing projects, driving customer satisfaction and repeat business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage project portfolio throughout the entire project lifecycle (pre-project design through project closeout); projects may include small clinical feasibility studies through large, late-phase clinical trials with BioPharma and Academic institutions
- Collaborate with Business Development for new project planning
- Primary point of contact for individual accounts; manage all client communications including email, phone, and routine monthly updates
- Prepare presentations for clients
- Provide sample and testing volume projections to Laboratory Operations
- Identify and coordinate appropriate project resources (Project Coordination, Manufacturing, Quality, Study director (GLP), data analysis, etc.) to meet project timelines and deliverables, as well as regulatory requirements
- Reconcile and submit billable work to Finance
- Monitor timelines and communicate major shifts to internal and external project stakeholders
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
May perform additional duties as assigned or directed by management from time to time
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- A minimum of a B.S. in biological sciences or similar required, with 3-4 years industry experience
- Background in oncology preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliant environment (such as GxP or CLIA) preferred
- Clinical project management experience preferred
- Customer-facing experience desired

- Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload
- Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Knowledge of logistics and clinical trial operations preferred
